Urban Farm Shop, Restaurant, Cafe & Butchery

The Salt Pig in Wareham was established in 2010 by James Warren and we opened our second premises, The Salt Pig Too, in Swanage in 2018. Both premises comprise of an urban farm shop, butchery, and a café. In 2021 we added two more small establishments, one at Careys Secret Garden and the other a pop-up at Tyneham Village.

We also provide outside catering for events and weddings.

What sets us Apart

We can proudly say that all our beef, lamb, and pork comes from farms with high levels of stewardship located within 8 miles of both shops. We are able to tell you every detail about the rearing and welfare of the animals.
